Hey I'm Andrew, your average feather-in-his-cap, spring-in-his-step, sneaker-wearing, tongue-twisting, ecstacy-inducing, mind-bending, never-ending, trend-setting, floppy-fringed whatsisname. Lovable at first sight if you see me in the right light. Always willing to give second chances. And a third if you ask nicely enough. Hopelessly romantic and tragically retarded. Such a combination yields unpredictable results. Initially shy, softspoken and quiet. Unabashed, witty and loud after the ice has broken. Proud ympacter, God-seeker, salvation-finder, redemption-searcher. I'm not a WANNABE, I'm a GONNABE. Optimist with a pessimistic edge, like a lollipop coated with glass. Always strive to be perfect, very seldom am. Dreams enough to grow a pair of wings. Realistic enough to tear them up. Swings his moods like a monkey on a rope, but you seldom see the emotions fly. No tears in my eyes don't mean I'm not crying, no red in my eyes don't mean I ain't mad, no smile on my face don't mean I'm not happy, no frown on my brow don't mean I'm not thinking. Music is my drug and art my choice of poison. Performs well under pressure, but won't break under the peer kind. Don't offer me your cash or flash me a badge, your friendship's good enough for me. Break my trust, watch the sparks fly. Not without forgiveness, but definitely human. Instantaneously horrific, gradually unbearable. Wait for the sky to clear up. It'll happen. Well hello.
Sadly, I'm back in Japan.
Missing the folks back home already.
Folks = Sam Wong, Shakila, Clarice, Delane, Jazlyn, Amanda, Ben Carmen, Clayton, Rachel, Mel, Mish, Alicia, Darren, Jolene, Yong Jie, Wang Chao, Wong, Brandon and more and more and more.
I'd give almost anything to go back and spend the New Year with those guys.
Sigh.
Well 2007 has been a weird year.
Full of ups and downs.
Not enough ups, too many downs.
Obviously, the biggest thing was moving to Japan.
That might be one of the biggest downs of this year.
Just when I thought I could settle down....
Tsk.
Ups include meeting new people, making new friends.
New people = Sam Wong, Delane, Clarice, Jazlyn especially.
Thanks for all the support you guys have given me all this time.
You guys really are great.
Love you guys truckloads and thank God he b;essed me with friends like you.
Well.
I left Singapore with lots of questions unanswered.
I'm gonna have to do some self-examination to help sort those out.
Don't want to be plagues by them the whole of next year.
Who knows what 2008 hold in store for me?
We'll see.
But first.
New Year Resolutions.
I didn't really fulfil my last one so I'm gonna keep perservering with that.
Trying to keep my emotions in control.
And I guess another one would be to work with my confidence.
Be a more confident person.
Try and get rid of low self-esteem issues.
That's gonna be hard but I really do want to be more confident.
So haha, wish me luck.
I am so gonna need it.
Well as an end note, I'd just say once again how much I'm missing you guys back in Singapore already and that I love you all.
I'll see you guys soon.
