Hey I'm Andrew, your average feather-in-his-cap, spring-in-his-step, sneaker-wearing, tongue-twisting, ecstacy-inducing, mind-bending, never-ending, trend-setting, floppy-fringed whatsisname. Lovable at first sight if you see me in the right light. Always willing to give second chances. And a third if you ask nicely enough. Hopelessly romantic and tragically retarded. Such a combination yields unpredictable results. Initially shy, softspoken and quiet. Unabashed, witty and loud after the ice has broken. Proud ympacter, God-seeker, salvation-finder, redemption-searcher. I'm not a WANNABE, I'm a GONNABE. Optimist with a pessimistic edge, like a lollipop coated with glass. Always strive to be perfect, very seldom am. Dreams enough to grow a pair of wings. Realistic enough to tear them up. Swings his moods like a monkey on a rope, but you seldom see the emotions fly. No tears in my eyes don't mean I'm not crying, no red in my eyes don't mean I ain't mad, no smile on my face don't mean I'm not happy, no frown on my brow don't mean I'm not thinking. Music is my drug and art my choice of poison. Performs well under pressure, but won't break under the peer kind. Don't offer me your cash or flash me a badge, your friendship's good enough for me. Break my trust, watch the sparks fly. Not without forgiveness, but definitely human. Instantaneously horrific, gradually unbearable. Wait for the sky to clear up. It'll happen. YOUTH DAY! Hahaha doesn't really make a difference for me, I'm free anyway but I'm glad I got an opportunity to hang out with everyone on a weekday :) ANYWAY. I got down to church with my brother at 11 and NO ONE WAS THERE D: Luckily Sam Wong came shortly after, followed by Jazlyn followed by Kenzie followed by Kai Juan followed by Ryan. Had lunch, came back and there were SO MANY PEOPLE. OVER 9000! Hahaha anyway, highlight= FRISBEE WITH COLLEEN!!! Omgosh seriously, it was superfun! UF was followed by soccer and basketball, so at the end of the 2/3 hours, I was absolutely knackered, and I had managed to rip a hole in my shorts. Tsk. I now have only ONE pair of shorts with me that are fully intact.

Anyway I'm going to hurry on to the 40Day Fast part cause today something awesome happened..

Day7:
Ok so today's QT was slightly different. It was done in the Youth Lounge with my brother, Sam Wong, Kai Juan and Aloysius (is that how you spell it?). Kinda like a little bible study or what not. Eto~ Today's lesson was, I felt, aimed at our RESPONSIBILITY as Christians to help those in need, those poverty-stricken and those who struggle in today's world of never-ending inflation. It was like a call to take action to help these people and I look forward to learning what the right way to approach this is.

OK THIS WAS EPIC.

Earlier on in one of the lessons, can't remember which one, it talked about what will happen when you fast, and this verse was used:

"And if you spend yourselves in behalf of the hungry and satisfy the needs of the oppressed, then your light will rise in the darkness, and your night will become like the noonday."

-Isaiah 58:10

You will shine like a light in darkness, a thermostat, not a thermometer, God will shine through you to reach others. LISTEN TO THIS.

Earlier, just before I posted this, a friend of mine, a free-thinker, was chatting with me on msn and he was talking about the end of the world in 2012. For those of you who don't know, it involves a huge particle accelerator that will form a huge black hole in the middle of the earth and swallow us all up. Then he said this "the scientists hypothesize that there's no God." And I just had this urge to TELL HIM. And I did. I told him that there IS a God, and that if it is His will to end the world in 2012, it will happen, but there is no way we can know when the world will end. Thinking back to the 15 day Mark challenge, I shared with him Mark 13:32-37. The Day and Hour Unknown. And then I decided to share LAMININ with him, seeing as he was a scientific guy. For those of you who haven't seen this GO LOOK IT UP. Laminin is a protein in your body that basically holds all of your cells together. It's the protein that HOLDS YOU TOGETHER. After reading this, go and google image it. You'll be amazed. After that, I was just talking to him about Christ and Christianity, and before he left, you know what he said?

"I'm thinking of converting."

I just went ballistic! I was just thinking THAT WAS WHAT IT SAID IN THE LESSON THIS IS CRAZY! I just felt so happy and so full of joy! I really thank God for working through me! And I really thank God for my friend! Now I just hope that He will grant me the wisdom to be able to be able to truly bring my friend to God. That He'll help me to do the right thing. Pray for me aye? :) This is truly awesome. Thank you God :)

Dear dear dearest viewers, before you read any further, I just thought I'd point out a few rules that I hope you'll follow while going through this lil' blog of mine. You wanna listen closely now, some of these rules, when broken, are punishable by death.

Anyway here are the rules, actually let's just call 'em guidelines. Rules sound too strict for this space. So here are your GUIDLELINES:
1) Numero uno - Please do respect whatever I've written here. Whatever I post on this blog has a reason behind it and does actually mean something to me. So I just ask that you show a little respect.
2) Mind your manners please! This really actually applies to your LIFE as well. Be polite :)
3) Leading on from point 2, I do not tolerate any forms of discrimination; be it racial, sexual, whatever it is. It is definitely NOT appreciated here. Take it somewhere else.
4) Maturity is a MUST. Please keep all comments mature! Name-calling goes under 'immature' so if you were planning on doing that, please change your mind right now.
5) In the same way that prejudice and discrimination are absolute no-no's. I have a zero-tolerance policy regarding insults directed towards my friends, family and religion. Please do refrain from making offensive remarks about those subjects.
6) SH! It would be nice if you didn't spread whatever I've posted on here hahaha ;D
